I bought a domain from Sedo.com recently. the saler has push the domain in sedo's Escrow account, and sedo has already send teh authentication code to me. but it stopped at the last step--accept transfer at current registar. i sent a email to sedo ask them to accept the transfer, but get no answer. I wonder how long it take for transfer to be complete. I have waitted for about 4 days.
I developed a web site recently, but google only index some of the pages, since most of my web pages are more than 500 kb, I wonder if google don't not index webpage more than 500 kb. through searching the internet, i find the following article.

people don't like a domain name contains hyphen, but do you know why? i will show you. I have a domain name www.top-1st.com , when you search in google using the keyword top-1st.com, the website top1st.com will be the first one in the result. i am very disappointed about this. so when you register a domain again, do not choose the domain having a hyphen.
it is popular believe that alexa only count the visit to your website if the visitor has installed the alexa toolbar. so many website try to ask the visitor to install the alexa toolbar in order to increase the alexa rank . but this is not the truth. my website (www.audlive.com)alexa rank is 1,314,933, and about 240 visitors perday , but the web statistics shows only 0.3% of the visitors have installed the alexa toolbar . this proves that alexa rank does not relate to the alexa toolbar.

there are some many bad guys online. they offen hacked my websites. sometimes they just changed my homepage. but the worse guys even add some virus to my websites. when i search my website in google yesterday, it showed 'this website may hurt your computer". I realize someone must have add some virus to to my website. finally , i found they add a , which is linked to www.998877.com/google.js. when i remove this link, my web is ok now. hope google will remove the virus notice very soon.
it is very annoy that some people always post some adult or other unfavorable contents in my website. The question is caused part by using the free website codes. other people can also download this free codes as you can . this make the website easier be hackered also.
I uses the following ways to avoid the spams.
1. chang the name of the database as sugestted by others.
2. make other files read only, don't change the attribute of them to write, when i build my first website, because i am not familiar with the setting, i changed all the attibute of files to wri ……
your domain name is really important for the success of your website. I have two websites. one is www.Audnow.com, for this domain name, about 20% of the visitor use sign up. but for another website, even with advertise on google, yahoo, and msn, only 0.5% of the people will sign up. this is a big difference. although the contents of the web may also affect why people does not signup, the name of the domain is also a factor.
